COURSE DEPLOYMENT
The ELM implementation plan is designed to be turnkey, simple and fast for participating medical facilities and organizing administrators. The following offers a topline view of how implementation is accomplished, the tools ELM provides in order to be successful, and an estimate of time required to complete tasks.

ELM staff is always available to aid in the process and ensure that the course is easily accessible to participating healthcare providers.

Phase One. Internal Preparation. (approximately 1 week)
In this phase, the ELM implementation staff works with the appropriate facility or department administrator to introduce and review the course, its capabilities and its requirements. The administrator is given a unique login to monitor participation progress, results and feedback. (See Phase Four)

The ELM staff will work with administrators to create awareness within the facility, identifying department heads and targets for assistance in rolling out the course and providing notifying communications.

Phase Two. Registration and Authentication. (approximately 1 week)
Using the communication tools from Phase One, the administrator compiles a comprehensive list of participants, and with a notification and instruction letter provided by ELM, disseminates a communication of course intent, requirements and the registration procedure. Each participant is provided with a web address for the course and instruction for registration and selection of a unique username and secure password. These authentication measures allow for storage of client profiles and performance tracking and reporting.

Phase Three. Course Deployment. (ongoing)
Every participating institution is provided with a unique, customized course presentation for their participants. The course units are available 24/7 and accessible from any Internet connection. The web site records each participant's progress, enabling him or her to stop and start the course, as their time permits, throughout the course time designated by the institution.

Phase Four. Feedback. (Ongoing)
With his or her login, the administrator can access real-time reporting on the individual progress of each physician and department. This allows them to monitor participation and deployment, as well as the success of physicians within each course unit.

At the end of each course unit, participants are asked to complete a voluntary survey about the unit they have just taken. Those survey results are available in real-time for the administrator, through their login. This allows ELM and the administrator to monitor the perceived effectiveness of each course unit. If changes to specific parts of the course are necessary, the ELM team can make them in real-time.
